I had a wonderful getaway at this lodge. Nestled in a serene location, the surroundings were beautiful and perfect for a relaxing escape. The lodges themselves were immaculate and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The service provided by Gerry was exceptional, making us feel welcomed and cared for. One minor downside was the lack of explicit information regarding pet-friendly options, which could be helpful for allergy sufferers. Overall, great value for money and a highly recommended spot!

What a fantastic getaway! The lodge was absolutely stunning with a hot tub that offered breathtaking views, particularly at dusk. The wildlife view from our lodge was delightful, and it felt incredibly private. The host was exceptionally welcoming, although I wish we’d had slippers for our pamper package. Overall, this was a memorable experience and I can’t wait to return!

I had a great stay overall, but was woken up early every morning by the local fox hunt passing by, which made it tough to enjoy my vacation. Oakwood Lodges is a lovely retreat, featuring clean lodges and a fantastic hot tub that I really enjoyed. The location is convenient for visiting York, and I appreciated the availability of nearby walks and restaurants. However, I found the kitchen equipment could use some updates and had some maintenance issues with the lodge. Overall, it was a nice escape, but there are definitely areas that need improvement.
